Fanatics is the sports merchandise giant’s betting arm. It entered New York on Feb 29, 2024, by taking over the PointsBet NY business; NYSGC reports say “Points Bet is doing business as Fanatics as of week ending 03/03/24.”
Our score is 8.6 out of 10. Fanatics earns it with market scale, one of the best-rated apps in the state and a rewards currency with real-world value. It drops points for a welcome offer that changes often and differs between sources.
Fanatics NY welcome bonus: how the FanCash bet match works
Fanatics’ current welcome offer in New York, as listed by the latest affiliate sources in mid-October 2026, is Up to $1,000 in FanCash (100% bet match up to $100 in FanCash a day for 10 days). No Promo Code is needed; you opt in through the bet slip.
Sources don’t fully agree. Some list a choice between the FanCash match and ten 100% Profit Boost tokens. Earlier in 2026, at least one major review site said New York was excluded from the FanCash match. Fanatics shows the live terms in its app before you opt in, so read them there.
| Offer | Up to $1,000 in FanCash (100% bet match up to $100 in FanCash a day for 10 days) |
| Promo Code | No Promo Code needed |
| Min deposit | $10 |
| Bonus terms | $1+ cash bet daily at odds of -200 or longer; opt in each day for 10 consecutive days; 1x |
| Expiry | 7 days |
Opting in through the bet slip
- Download the Fanatics app while you’re physically in New York. You must be 21+.
- Register and verify your identity.
- Deposit at least $10.
- On day one, opt in on the bet slip and place a cash bet of $1 or more at odds of -200 or longer.
- FanCash equal to your stake, up to $100, is credited. Use it within 7 days.
- Repeat daily for 10 consecutive days from account creation. Miss a day and you lose that day’s match.
The FanCash math
Say you bet $50 a day at -110 for all 10 days. You’d collect $500 in FanCash, credited day by day, and each batch expires 7 days after it lands. Convert it to bonus bets and the usual rule applies: a $50 bonus bet at -110 that wins pays about $45 in profit, not $95, because the stake isn’t returned.
Who a 10-day bet match suits
It suits a daily bettor. Ten $100 bets over ten days max out the full $1,000 in FanCash. A weekend-only bettor will leave most of it on the table.
After day 10 the welcome window closes, and the regular FanCash you earn on every bet takes over.
FanCash is flexible. You can convert it 1:1 into bonus bets or spend it on jerseys and gear through Fanatics ONE.
From the Bronx to Buffalo: Fanatics odds and markets
Fanatics prices all 10 major NY pro teams: the Yankees and Mets, Giants, Jets and Bills, Knicks and Nets, and the Rangers, Islanders and Sabres. Spreads, totals, moneylines, player props and live lines are standard.
The Same Game Parlay builder is fast, and daily odds boosts run in the app. Longer odds also earn more FanCash, so a Jets-Bills same-game parlay builds rewards faster than a single moneyline.
New York’s college rules apply here as at every NY book. No bets on games involving a New York college team, anywhere, and no college player props at all, according to PML §1367 and NYSGC guidance.
The NY State Gaming Commission has also been reviewing player props and same-game parlays since November 2025. Nothing was banned as of October 2026.
Fanatics app: 4.8 stars on iOS and Android
The Fanatics app rates 4.8 on the App Store from 287,000 ratings, and 4.8 on Google Play according to Covers’ October 2026 comparison. Only FanDuel and DraftKings have more iOS ratings among NY books.
The App Store listing is now called “Fanatics Sports & Casino.” The casino part doesn’t apply in New York, where online casino games aren’t legal.
The layout is a social-style feed, with a Discover tab surfacing boosts and popular bets. Live betting is quick, and the in-game stat tracker works well for tracking a parlay. Fanatics doesn’t list live streaming among its NY features.
PayPal, Venmo and next-day e-wallet payouts at Fanatics
Deposits start at $10 through Visa and Mastercard debit, PayPal, Venmo, ACH and online bank transfer.
Third-party tests put e-wallet withdrawals typically under 24 hours. Fanatics doesn’t publish an official payout time. Bank transfers usually take longer than PayPal or Venmo, so use an e-wallet if speed matters.
Fanatics FanCash rewards: cash-back you can wear
FanCash is the reason to pick Fanatics. You earn it on every bet, and the rate rises the longer the odds. It redeems 1:1, so $1 of FanCash is worth $1 whether you spend it on a bet or a hat.
You can redeem it 1:1 for bonus bets or for Fanatics merchandise. Bet through a season and your FanCash can go toward a Rangers jersey. No other NY sportsbook pays its rewards in team merchandise.
No. 3 in New York: Fanatics’ handle and revenue
According to NY State Gaming Commission reports, Fanatics took $213.2 million in bets in August 2026 and kept $18.8 million in gross gaming revenue. That’s 12.3% of the state’s handle and 11.2% of its revenue, third behind DraftKings and FanDuel.
Fanatics’ August hold, the share of each dollar bet that it kept, was 8.8%, against 9.7% statewide. In other words, its customers as a group gave back slightly less per dollar than the New York average that month.
For calendar 2025, NYSGC data shows $2.62 billion in handle and $197.6 million in revenue. That handle total includes an unusual $565.8 million in August 2025, against roughly $140–220 million in surrounding months, and the reports don’t explain the spike.
What it tells you: Fanatics is the only book that entered New York after 2022 and climbed into the top three. In August 2026 it took nearly twice BetMGM’s handle. Scale matters in NY, where a 51% tax on revenue has already pushed out smaller books like Resorts World Bet.
The climb has been quick. Fanatics overtook BetMGM and Caesars, both launch-day books with casino brands behind them, within about two years of arriving. For a bettor, that scale means deep markets and limits that rarely bite on everyday stakes.
The monthly figures are in the NYSGC Fanatics report.
Fanatics: what works and what doesn’t
Pros – FanCash on every bet, redeemable for bonus bets or merchandise – 4.8-star app on iOS and Android – No. 3 NY sportsbook by handle – PayPal and Venmo deposits and withdrawals – No Promo Code needed
Cons – Welcome offer changes often and sources disagree on NY terms – Daily opt-in needed for 10 days to get the full bonus – No live streaming listed for NY – No published payout times
Smaller than DraftKings, ahead of BetMGM: where Fanatics fits
Against DraftKings Sportsbook NY, Fanatics is the smaller book but the better loyalty scheme for casual fans. DraftKings took $614 million in NY bets in August 2026, nearly three times Fanatics, and its Dynasty Rewards tiers reward volume. FanCash rewards every bet from day one.
Against BetMGM NY, Fanatics wins on the welcome offer: BetMGM has no welcome bonus in NY right now. BetMGM Rewards ties into MGM Resorts hotels; FanCash ties into team gear.
