FanDuel went live on day one of legal mobile betting in New York, January 8, 2022, and has led the state’s revenue table ever since. According to NY State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) reports, it took $9.44 billion in bets and $1.10 billion in gross gaming revenue in calendar 2025.
Our rating is 9.3 out of 10. FanDuel earns it on the app, the depth of its same-game parlay tools and a welcome offer that pays out win or lose. It loses points for slow-moving rewards history (the new program is weeks old) and for not publishing withdrawal times.
FanDuel NY welcome bonus: Get $350 in Bonus Bets When You Wager $5 for 7 Days
This is a seven-day drip, not a one-shot bonus. Bet $5 in cash on each of 7 consecutive days and FanDuel credits $50 in bonus bets for each qualifying day. Hit all seven and you collect $350.
The bonus bets land within 72 hours of each qualifying bet settling. The result of your bet doesn’t matter. FanDuel lists the offer window as October 10–26, 2026.
Claiming FanDuel’s seven-day drip
- Download the FanDuel Sportsbook app or open the site while physically in New York.
- Register with your name, address, date of birth and the last 4 digits of your SSN. No Promo Code needed.
- Deposit at least $5.
- Place a cash bet of $5 or more today. Repeat on each of the next 6 days.
- Use each $50 batch within 7 days, before it expires.
The fine print on FanDuel bonus bets
- 1x, stake not returned. A bonus bet’s winnings are yours, but the bonus stake itself is not paid back. A $50 bonus bet at +100 returns $50, not $100.
- Miss a day and the chain breaks. The offer requires 7 consecutive days.
- New customers only, 21+, in NY. The bonus bets are non-withdrawable.

Who it suits: bettors who will open the app daily anyway, for example during NFL season, when a $5 moneyline on a Giants, Jets or Bills game takes 10 seconds. Casual weekend bettors may struggle to string 7 days together. Full terms and the claim walkthrough are on our FanDuel promo code page.
Which New York teams and markets can you bet at FanDuel?
FanDuel posts every NY pro team: the Yankees and Mets, Giants, Jets and Bills, Knicks and Nets, Rangers, Islanders and Sabres. Expect moneylines, spreads, totals, alternate lines, player props, futures and live markets on all of them.
The app’s calling card is the Same Game Parlay builder, plus SGPX, which stacks same-game parlays from several games into one ticket. Daily odds boosts sit on the home screen.
State rules that change your bet slip
- No NY college teams. State law bans bets on any New York college team, home or away. That takes Syracuse, St. John’s and Army off the board.
- No college player props. NYSGC backs a ban on props for any college athlete.
- Tournament exception. College tournaments are open, except for games involving a NY school.
Props and SGPs are also under review. In February 2026 the NYSGC invited leagues to request bet restrictions, and at its March 16 meeting the chair said the commission “could consider banning proposition bets entirely.” Nothing has been banned as of October 2026, but FanDuel’s parlay-led product has more riding on that decision than most.
FanDuel’s app: 2.3 million ratings, live betting and streaming
The FanDuel Sportsbook app rates 4.8 on the US App Store from 2.3 million ratings, the largest rating base of any NY sportsbook. On Android it scores 4.6.
Live betting covers the major US leagues with in-game lines that update between plays. Early cash out is available on a limited set of bets. Live streams run on select events inside the app, and FanDuel’s own FanDuel TV network covers horse racing and betting shows.
New for the 2026 NFL season is BetProtect+, injury protection on eligible player props for an extra 3% of the stake. If your player leaves injured, a straight bet is refunded in cash and a parlay leg is removed without killing the ticket.
Funding a FanDuel account: Apple Pay, Venmo and PayNearMe
The minimum deposit is $5. Deposit methods include:
- Visa, Mastercard and debit cards
- Apple Pay, PayPal and Venmo
- FanDuel Play+ prepaid card
- PayNearMe (cash at retail stores)
- Online banking, eCheck and wire transfer
FanDuel doesn’t publish a standard withdrawal time. E-wallets and Play+ are the quickest routes; bank transfers and checks are the slowest. Withdraw to a method you’ve already deposited with to avoid extra verification.
Taxes apply to your winnings, not to the book alone. Our guide to paying tax on sportsbook winnings in NY covers the forms.
FanDuel Rewards Club: five levels, points on every bet
FanDuel launched Rewards Club in September 2026 and opened it to all sportsbook customers. You earn points on every wager, win or lose, and longer odds earn more:
| Odds | Points per $1 |
|---|---|
| -1000 to -201 | 1 |
| -200 to +199 | 2 |
| +200 to +999 | 4 |
| +1000 to +3999 | 5 |
| +4000 or longer | 6 |
A $100 bet at +300 earns 400 points. Points move you through five monthly levels. Each level adds daily promos, a weekly reward you choose, challenges and Rewards Boxes with a surprise token.
The catch: points reset monthly, so this rewards steady play, not one big Sunday. And New York regulators are writing rules that would bar AI-personalised promotions; the NYSGC advanced that rule on October 9, 2026. It isn’t final, but tailored weekly rewards are the kind of feature it targets.
Why FanDuel keeps 11.7 cents of every dollar wagered
| Metric (NYSGC) | FanDuel | Share of NY |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 handle | $9.44B | 35.9% |
| 2025 revenue (GGR) | $1.10B | 43.2% |
| August 2026 handle | $599.6M | 34.6% |
| August 2026 GGR | $64.0M | 38.0% |
FanDuel and DraftKings together took about 76% of New York’s 2025 sportsbook revenue. FanDuel’s share of revenue (43.2%) runs well ahead of its share of bets (35.9%). That means it kept 11.7 cents of every dollar wagered, against a market average of 9.7%.
For bettors, a high hold usually reflects a parlay-heavy customer base: SGPs carry bigger margins than straight bets. Build parlays for fun, but price-shop straight bets.
At New York’s 51% tax rate, FanDuel’s 2025 revenue meant roughly $562 million for the state. One footnote: DraftKings edged FanDuel on handle in August 2026, $614.0M to $599.6M, so the No. 1 spot by volume is now contested.
Where FanDuel wins and where it falls short
Pros – New York’s revenue leader, with the largest app rating base (2.3M iOS ratings) – Bonus pays $50 a day win or lose; No Promo Code needed – Best-in-class SGP and SGPX builders, plus BetProtect+ injury cover – New Rewards Club pays points on every bet, including losers
Cons – The bonus requires 7 consecutive days of betting – Bonus bet stakes aren’t returned with winnings – No published withdrawal times – Rewards Club resets monthly and is unproven
FanDuel vs. DraftKings and Caesars for New Yorkers
DraftKings is the closest rival and briefly led New York on handle in August 2026. Its Bet $5, Get $200 in Bonus Bets offer pays out over 21 days rather than 7, and its Dynasty Rewards program is more established.
Caesars suits bettors who want hotel and dining value: Caesars Rewards credits work at resorts across the country. Its welcome offer is ten 100% Profit Boosts for a $1 first bet.
