Our Finger Lakes best bet and value play
Best bet: Mizty Fog (1-1) in Race 3. The 1-1 morning-line favorite, so the track handicapper rates this horse as the one to beat. Jose Baez has won 3 of 19 rides (16%) at New York tracks in our records. Race 3 picks and odds
Value play of the day: Doha Desert (20-1) in Race 4. At 20-1 on the morning line, the price is bigger than this horse’s connections suggest.
