$25 bonus bet + up to $200 deposit match: NYRA Bets welcome bonus

New NYRA Bets customers get two things: a $25 bonus bet and a 100% match on the first deposit, up to $200. Here’s how to claim the match:

  1. Open a NYRA Bets account. You must be 18 or older.
  2. Make your first deposit within 30 days of opening the account.
  3. Wager twice the deposit amount inside that same 30-day window.
  4. The match, up to $200, lands within 48 hours as wagering credit.

The fine print matters. Show bets, futures, phone bets and cancelled or scratched bets don’t count toward the 2x requirement. The offer is limited to one per household and IP address.

The math is friendly. Deposit $200, bet $400 over a month on win, place and exotic tickets, and you collect $200 in credit. A Saratoga regular hits that without trying. A once-a-year Belmont Stakes bettor probably won’t.

Belmont and Saratoga first: NYRA Bets tracks and bet types

NYRA Bets carries 300+ tracks, so you can bet Churchill Downs, Santa Anita or a Tuesday harness card. Its edge is at home.

NYRA runs New York’s big thoroughbred circuit. In 2026 that meant Aqueduct until its last race on June 28, Saratoga from July 3 to Sept. 7, and the rebuilt Belmont Park from Sept. 18. Belmont’s fall meet runs to Dec. 6 and a winter meet starts Dec. 10. The Belmont Stakes returns to Belmont Park on June 5, 2027, and NYRA Bets was the presenting sponsor of the 2026 race at Saratoga.

Every app pays the same pari-mutuel odds, so bet types and takeout don’t change by app. At NYRA tracks the takeout is 16% on win, place and show, 18.5% on exactas and daily doubles, 24% on trifectas, superfectas, the Pick 3 and Pick 4, and 15% on the Pick 5 and Pick 6. What NYRA Bets changes is how much of that comes back to you.

Legacy app, newer version: rating the NYRA Bets app

The NYRA Bets iOS listing shows 4.7 stars from 10,000 ratings. That listing is marked as the legacy app and points users to the newer version.

  • Live video: HD streams and replays of NYRA races, with English or Spanish calls. Other tracks stream in HD where the track supplies it.
  • Picture-in-picture: watch one race while you build a ticket for the next.
  • Handicapping: expert picks and past performances inside the app.
  • Web: the same account works on the mobile site if you’d rather not download.

The app does the basics well. It isn’t the deepest handicapping tool, and serious players who live on speed figures will want a second source.

Cash at the windows: NYRA Bets deposits and withdrawals

NYRA Bets has one funding option no out-of-state app can match: cash at the windows at NYRA tracks. The other deposit methods are Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, bank transfer, the NYRA Bets Play+ prepaid card, PayNearMe, wire and mail.

PayPal isn’t offered. Withdrawal methods and times vary by option and appear in the cashier, so check them before your first deposit if speed matters to you.

4 points per $1 at NYRA tracks: NYRA Bets Rewards

NYRA Bets Rewards starts at sign-up. You earn 4 points per $1 wagered on NYRA races and 2 points per $1 everywhere else. Points redeem for wagering credit, with 5,000 points worth $5.

That works out to a 0.4% rebate on Belmont and Saratoga and 0.2% elsewhere. It’s better than FanDuel Racing and DK Horse, which pay nothing on volume, and better than TwinSpires at non-Churchill tracks (0.1%). It’s well short of AmWager, whose rewards reach 2.5% for high-volume players.

NYRA Bets also runs race-day promotions around the big NYRA cards, which change through the season.

Why NYRA Bets is missing from the state’s ADW report

You won’t find NYRA Bets in the NY State Gaming Commission’s monthly ADW report. That report covers only out-of-state providers, and NYRA Bets is New York’s own.

The report still tells you something. In September 2026, New Yorkers bet $51,959,809 through out-of-state ADWs, led by FanDuel Racing at $28,819,950. Every one of those dollars wagered on a NYRA race through a rival app still feeds NYRA’s pools, but NYRA Bets is the only app where the operator is also the track.

Home-track edge and limits: NYRA Bets pros and cons

Pros – Double rewards on Belmont and Saratoga, the tracks New Yorkers bet most – Welcome offer worth up to $225 – Cash deposits at NYRA tracks – HD video with English or Spanish calls

Cons – 0.4% top rebate is modest next to AmWager – No PayPal – Minimum deposit and withdrawal times aren’t spelled out in the offer terms

Our 9.0 rating reflects the best fit for New York’s own tracks and a well-rated app, held back by a modest rebate rate.
