TVG is now FanDuel Racing: what changed in New York
TVG didn’t leave New York. It changed its name. The TVG betting app is now FanDuel Racing, and FanDuel says existing TVG account details carry over, so your username, balance and history move with you. The TVG television network became FanDuel TV, a change reported in July 2022.
The NY State Gaming Commission still uses the old name: its monthly ADW report lists the app as “ODS – TVG.” If you searched for “TVG NY,” this is the app you’re looking for.

The NYSGC’s September 2026 ADW market origin report puts FanDuel Racing (listed as ODS – TVG) at $28,819,950 in handle from New York residents. That’s 55% of the $51,959,809 New Yorkers bet through all out-of-state ADWs that month.
TwinSpires was a distant second at $10,080,713. The gap tells you that FanDuel’s sportsbook customer base, not its racing features, is driving the volume. It’s the default racing app for New Yorkers who already have FanDuel on their phone.
