A Finger Lakes commercial casino that may change hands
del Lago is one of the five upstate commercial casinos licensed by the NY State Gaming Commission, listed in the Town of Tyre, Seneca County. It opened in February 2017, between Rochester and Syracuse in the Finger Lakes.
Churchill Downs Inc. bought it in November 2022 as part of a roughly $2.5 billion deal with Peninsula Pacific Entertainment. On July 30, 2026, FingerLakes1 reported a federal filing in which Churchill Downs named del Lago among nine regional casinos it is exploring selling. The company said “there can be no assurances” a deal will happen and named no buyer. The casino is operating as usual.
1,650 slots and 65-plus tables on the del Lago floor
del Lago lists more than 1,650 slots. Its homepage counts 66 table games and its gaming page says 70. Expect blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat.
The poker room is on the main floor. The casino quotes 10 to 14 tables, depending on which of its pages you read.

Inside The Sportsbook, del Lago’s 6,000-square-foot room
The sportsbook covers more than 6,000 square feet, with over 1,000 square feet of LED screens and live odds boards, according to the casino. It opened with DraftKings as its partner. The casino now brands it simply as The Sportsbook at del Lago.

Yes. del Lago is a commercial casino, not tribal land, so the tribal geofence that blocks apps at Seneca, Oneida and Mohawk casinos doesn’t apply. Shows at The Vine and nights at Centrifico
Headliners play The Vine Showroom, which is 21+ for every show. Doors open an hour before showtime, and the box office opens at 4 p.m. on show nights. Shows on the fall 2026 calendar include Night Ranger on Nov. 7. Centrifico hosts the casino’s “Live at Centrifico” music nights.
FastTrack Rewards at del Lago
del Lago’s loyalty card is now FastTrack Rewards, which costs nothing to join. It’s Churchill Downs’ cross-property program, so one card earns tier points at select Churchill Downs Inc. casinos instead of a separate card at each. Tier benefits are set out in del Lago’s FastTrack Rewards chart.
Free parking and Thruway Exit 41: reaching Waterloo
Parking is free at every casino and hotel entrance. For The Vine, use the parking garage, which is closest to the showroom.
The resort is off Exit 41 of the New York State Thruway (I-90), about 50 miles from Rochester and 45 miles from Syracuse. Thoroughbred fans can pair a visit with Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack in Farmington, about 25 miles west.
