Where we’d put our money at Finger Lakes
Best bet: Mizty Fog (1-1) in Race 2. The 1-1 morning-line favorite, so the track handicapper rates this horse as the one to beat. Jose Baez has won 3 of 17 rides (18%) at New York tracks in our records. Race 2 picks and odds
Value play of the day: Eastern Star (20-1) in Race 5. At 20-1 on the morning line, the price is bigger than this horse’s connections suggest.
