Where we’d put our money at Finger Lakes
Best bet: Bustin Away (8-5) in Race 1. The 8-5 morning-line favorite, so the track handicapper rates this horse as the one to beat. Joel Cruz has won 8 of 50 rides (16%) at New York tracks in our records. Race 1 picks and odds
Value play of the day: Tomaki (20-1) in Race 2. At 20-1 on the morning line, the price is bigger than this horse’s connections suggest.
