How Race 2 sets up
William Mott sends out 2 runners (Fango Creek and Sky Chart), which tells you the barn thinks the conditions suit.
Among the riders, Samuel Marin has the best New York strike rate in our records: 14% wins from 147 mounts.
Forecast: rain, high of 71°F.
Race 2 betting strategy: where the value is
Morning-line odds are the track handicapper’s forecast, not the final price. Pari-mutuel odds move with the money until the gates open.
