From DRF Bets to 1/ST BET PRO: what changed
On June 10, 2025, 1/ST bought DRF Bets from Affinity Interactive, the parent company of Daily Racing Form. Terms weren’t disclosed. The app was renamed 1/ST BET PRO and folded into Xpressbet, 1/ST’s betting platform, which took full operational control.
For customers, the switch was meant to be painless. Existing DRF Bets users log in with the same credentials and kept their promotions and benefits at the handover.
Daily Racing Form itself didn’t go anywhere. Affinity kept DRF as an independent media and data company that works with tracks, betting platforms and sportsbooks. 1/ST BET PRO describes itself as the only online horse betting site featuring DRF data.
If you searched for “DRF Bets,” “bets.drf.com” or a “Daily Racing Form promo code,” this is the app those searches now lead to.
Welcome bonus: 1/ST BET PRO has no sign-up offer right now
There’s no sign-up offer for New Yorkers on 1/ST BET PRO at the moment, and no Promo Code to enter. The DRF Bets codes that still circulate on older pages belong to the pre-2025 app.
That’s the biggest knock on the product. Its sister brands are both promoting big bonuses: Xpressbet offers an Up to $500 sign-up bonus with Promo Code AUTUMN500, and 1/ST BET advertises up to $500 through Nov. 2, 2026. If a welcome offer matters to you, start there.

DRF data at the core: tracks, bet types and handicapping
This is what 1/ST BET PRO is for. It’s built around Daily Racing Form’s data:
- DRF past performances inside the app, with PPs available at no charge.
- Beyer Speed Figures, DRF’s signature speed ratings.
- DRF expert picks and analysis.
- Carryover tracking for multi-race pools.
Coverage includes North American thoroughbred racing, international cards and harness racing. You get the full pari-mutuel menu: win, place, show, exactas, trifectas, superfectas, doubles and the Pick 3 through Pick 6.
For New York racing, the data matters more than the app. Belmont Park reopened on Sept. 18, 2026, and runs to Dec. 6, with a winter meet from Dec. 10. On a 10-race Belmont card, having Beyers and full PPs on the bet slip saves a second screen. The takeout is the same 16% on win bets and 24% on trifectas as any other app.

The iOS app holds 4.5 stars from 905 ratings, the lowest score among the major racing apps we review, from a small sample. It lists New York among 37 states.
You get live HD video and replays alongside the handicapping tools. The app is aimed at people who already read past performances. A first-time bettor will find FanDuel Racing or TwinSpires easier to learn.
Banking through Xpressbet’s cashier
1/ST BET PRO runs on Xpressbet’s platform, which uses bank transfer, PayPal and paper checks for withdrawals. The 1/ST BET PRO site doesn’t spell out its own deposit minimums or payout times, so check the cashier before your first deposit.
Rewards at 1/ST BET PRO: no published rebate
1/ST BET PRO doesn’t publish a rebate rate or points table on its site. Existing DRF Bets customers kept their promotions and benefits at the handover, according to SBC Americas.
Without a published rate, it’s impossible to compare with NYRA Bets (0.4% at NYRA tracks) or AmWager (up to 2.5%).
Hidden in the Xpressbet line: 1/ST BET PRO’s NY handle
The NY State Gaming Commission doesn’t list 1/ST BET PRO separately in its ADW market origin report. Its New York handle most likely sits inside the “Xpressbet” line, which recorded $5,317,276 from New York residents in September 2026, alongside Xpressbet and 1/ST BET.
That’s about 10% of the $51,959,809 New Yorkers bet through out-of-state ADWs that month. 1/ST BET PRO is the specialist of the three, so it’s likely a small share of that figure.
