Access to playing their games online is not made available by the New York Lottery. However, there are a number of third-party courier services that offer online access to lottery ticket purchasing in the Empire State.
Jackpocket New York
In January 2021, Jackpocket.com NY became the first third-party lottery ticket courier service to be approved to operate in New York. Anyone 18+ and physically located in the state of New York can get tickets for New York Lottery games on Jackpocket.
Place your order through the Jackpocket.com app. Jackpocket then buys your lottery ticket on your behalf from an affiliate partner that is an official NY Lottery retailer. They send you a scan of your ticket, front and back. You’ll also get a confirmation email with the ticket serial number.
Prize winnings $600 and below go straight into your Jackpocket account. For wins over $600, you can pick up your ticket in person or you can elect to have your paper ticket securely delivered to you so you can claim your prize from the state lottery.
Lotto.com New York
Working in partnership with QuickChek, Lotto.com is also an official lottery courier service of the New York Lottery. You order the tickets you desire from them and Lotto.com will make the purchase via QuickChek. If you win less than $600, they will deposit the amount directly into your account. For winnings above the $600 threshold, you can either pick up your winning ticket from a Lotto.com retailer, or arrange to have it mailed to your address.
Jackpot.com launched in New York in August of 2023. Their courier service allows New York Lottery players to securely order official state lottery tickets from their mobile phone, tablet, or desktop. Purchases are made from official New York Lottery retailers and scans of tickets are sent to the purchaser. Winnings under $600 are deposited into the player’s account, while the physical ticket is sent to a player who wins more than $600 so they may claim their prize.
