The Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook is operated by the Oneida Indian Nation. In 2021, their facility christened a $10-million addition that included The Lounge With Caesars Sports, the largest brick and mortar sportsbook in New York State.
Other elements included in the 19,400-square-foot entertainment area of the Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook include “The Lanes” – six lanes of bowling – an indoor Top Golf swing suite, simulators for playing dodgeball, baseball pitching, soccer and hockey, pool tables, shuffleboard, a bar and new dining choices. There were also an additional 65 slot machines and 20 LED TV screens added to the casino.
The Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook in Chittenango, N.Y., about a 20-minute drive east of Syracuse, opened in June of 2015. It includes a casino with slot machines and table games and five different dining options. The property also features a 900 square foot conference area and 400 square foot pre-function area. Eventually, an entertainment venue that will feature top acts will also be added to the facility.
The casino draws its name due to the fact that L. Frank Baum, author of the iconic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, was born in the village of Chittenango. The Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook is a 100 percent smoke-free facility.
Hotel/Spa
There is no on-site hotel at the Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook. Players can opt to make reservations at a number of nearby hotels.
The Craftsman Inn & Suites, Days Inn by Wyndham Canastota/Syracuse, Homewood Suites by Hilton Syracuse or the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Syracuse are all within a short journey from the casino.

The Yellow Brick Road Casino has a Casino License Class III, which enables the facility to provide both electronic and live Las Vegas-style game play.
Across the 60,000 square feet of gaming space there are more than 440 slots and video poker machines to play in the Yellow Brick Road Casino. Popular titles include 88 Fortunes, Dragon Link, Wheel of Fortune, Zeus, Antony & Cleopatra, Quick Hit Platinum, Wonder Woman Wild, Wonder Woman Gold, Aladdin’s Fortune 3D, Lucky Hot 7s, Game King Multi Game, White Wizard, Alice The Mad Teaparty and Wicked Winning.

Table games hours of operation are Sunday-Wednesday 11 a.m.- 11 p.m., Thursday 11-12:00 a.m., Friday 11-3 a.m. and Saturday 10-3 a.m.

The Lounge with Caesars Sports at the Yellow Brick Road Casino & Sportsbook is the largest retail sportsbook in New York State, covering 8,800 square feet. It features a massive 32-foot video wall, custom-built for The Lounge, more than 30 large-screen TVs, with six measuring in at 85 inches, dozens of stadium recliners, plus high-tops, room for 200+ fans and VIP fan caves that can be reserved for exclusive game-day events. There’s a full sports bar that includes slot machines to add to the fun and entertainment.
The Lounge with Caesars Sports takes year-round, multi-sport viewing and Vegas-style sports betting to a whole new level. They offer a limited menu of betting markets that includes football, basketball, boxing and soccer.
Partnered with global gaming leader Caesars Entertainment, with fellow betting giant William Hill poised to deliver online and mobile wagering once New York gives this form of betting the go ahead, The Lounge with Caesars Sports is open Monday-Friday from 12-10 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m-10 p.m.
