One $5 bet, $200 back in bonus bets, win or lose. That’s the DraftKings New York welcome offer through November 29, 2026, and it’s the simplest big-number deal in the state.
The fine print sits in the timing. The $200 comes as eight $25 bonus bets spread over three weeks.

What the DraftKings welcome code terms really say
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Qualifying bet | $5+ first bet after a $5 deposit |
| Payout | $200 as eight $25 bonus bets, days 0, 7, 14 and 21 |
| Expiry | 7 days (168 hours) per bonus bet |
| Playthrough | 1x; stake not returned |
| End date | November 29, 2026; one per customer |
Later drops are click-to-claim. Miss the claim and you miss the $50. Turn on app notifications for the 21 days.
Each pair lasts a week. Every $25 bonus bet expires 168 hours after it lands, so the four drops line up neatly with four NFL Sundays.
The stake isn’t paid back. A $25 bonus bet at +300 pays $75, not $100. Plus-money picks get more from each token.
NBA League Pass auto-renews. The 3-month code must be redeemed by December 19, 2026. Cancel before the renewal date if you don’t want to be charged.
Getting the most from DraftKings bonus bets
Eight $25 tokens reward a little planning.
- Favor plus money. The stake isn’t returned, so a $25 bonus bet at -200 pays only $12.50. At +200 it pays $50.
- Match drops to big slates. Days 0, 7, 14 and 21 fall a week apart. Start on a Sunday and every pair lands in time for the next NFL weekend.
- Remember the NY board. Bonus bets follow state rules: no New York college teams and no college player props.
- Treat it as entertainment. Bonus bets carry no cash value until they win, so don’t chase losses with cash to “use up” a token.
Why DraftKings is a strong first account in New York
DraftKings handled $614.0 million in New York bets in August 2026, more than any other book, according to the NY State Gaming Commission. Its iOS app rates 4.8 from 1.3 million ratings. For a first NY account, that scale means deep markets on every Yankees, Knicks and Giants game.
No deposit or referral code at DraftKings: what’s real
There’s no DraftKings no-deposit bonus in New York. The minimum to qualify for the welcome offer is a $5 deposit and a $5 bet.
We couldn’t confirm a current DraftKings referral offer for New York. Referrals at NY sportsbooks run through an invite link from an existing customer’s app, not a code typed at sign-up. “Codes” posted on coupon sites are affiliate tracking tags, not extra offers.
DraftKings offer codes for existing customers
After the welcome offer, DraftKings’ value comes from three places:
- Profit boosts on selected bets, posted daily in the Promos tab.
- Progressive parlays, which still pay at reduced odds if a leg misses.
- Dynasty Rewards. Every bet earns DK Crowns to spend and Tier Credits that move you through five tiers, Bronze to Onyx.
