PlayStar is a one-state operation. It exists only in New Jersey, it runs under Ocean Casino Resort’s license, and it’s been live since September 2022.
The welcome deal is a 100% deposit match up to $500, plus up to 500 Bonus Spins spread across your first three deposits. No Promo Code required.
Is it worth it? For a patient slots player, yes. But read two lines of fine print before you sign up. The bonus carries 30x wagering, and the bonus terms require you to be 25 or older, even though the site itself is 21+. If you’re 23, you can play at PlayStar, but you can’t claim this offer.
PlayStar Casino NJ Promo Code and bonus at a glance
| Product | Welcome offer | Promo Code | Min deposit | Wagering |

How the PlayStar casino bonus works
Deposit one: the match
Make your first deposit within seven days of registering, with a $20 minimum. PlayStar matches it 100%, up to $500.
That bonus has to be wagered 30 times within 30 days. While you’re clearing it, bets are capped at $20 on slots and $200 on table games.
Deposits two and three: the spins
The Bonus Spins, worth $0.10 each, come in with your second and third deposits. Up to 500 are on offer in total.
Here’s the twist: how many spins you get on deposits two and three depends on the size of your first deposit. Put in $100 or more first and you get 200 spins on the second deposit. Go smaller and the spin count changes; the app shows it.
The age rule
Bonus terms require players to be 25+. The site is 21+. Plenty of casinos have quirks, but this one catches people.
How we’d play the PlayStar welcome offer
The full $500 match looks great until you do the multiplication. Deposit $500, get $500, then wager $15,000 inside 30 days. That’s $500 in bets every single day for a month.
With the $20 slot cap, even betting the max on every spin, that’s at least 750 spins. At a more normal $1 a spin, it’s 15,000.
Our pick is $100. You get a $100 bonus and a $3,000 playthrough, about $100 a day over the month. And because $100 is the threshold, you lock in the 200 spins on your second deposit.
Those 200 spins are $20 in spin value. Add the rest across deposit three and the full 500 spins comes to $50. It’s a sweetener, not the meal.
One more trap: the $20 slot cap. If you’re used to bigger spins, a single $25 bet while the bonus is active breaks the terms. Set your stake before you start and leave it there until the 30x is done.
PlayStar Casino NJ review
PlayStar Club loyalty
Loyalty kicks in automatically once you’ve made three deposits. There are five levels, and you earn 1 point for every $5 you play.
It’s simple, and it pairs neatly with the welcome bonus: by the time you’ve collected all your spins, you’re in the club.
Games, jackpots and Slingo
The library holds 1,400+ games, and the iOS app puts the count at over 1,500. Slingo gets its own spot, and there are Star Jackpot exclusives plus 60+ jackpot slots in total.
Evolution runs the live tables, including Crazy Time and Dream Catcher. PlayStar also launched a separate PlayStar LIVE app in 2025 for players who only want live dealer.
The PlayStar app
The iOS app is rated 4.3 from 1,700 ratings. It’s not at Hard Rock’s level, but it’s comfortably ahead of Betinia’s 4.2.
Banking and payout speed
PayPal, e-check and cash at the Ocean cage are all on the menu. The minimum is $10.
Withdrawals are reviewed within 24 hours, which is quick. Large ones, though, can take up to ten business days. Hit a real jackpot and you’ll be waiting.
Customer support runs from 9am to 1:30am ET. That covers a late session after a Devils game, but not a 3am question.
How big is PlayStar?
Small, and that’s part of the appeal. PlayStar posted $2.08 million in internet gaming win in August 2026, and $21.07 million year-to-date. For scale, FanDuel’s casino won $57.8 million in September 2026 alone.

PlayStar pros and cons
Pros – No Promo Code needed – Up to 500 Bonus Spins over three deposits – PayPal and cash at the Ocean cage – Withdrawals reviewed within 24 hours – Star Jackpot exclusives and a separate live dealer app – Automatic PlayStar Club loyalty after three deposits
Cons – 30x wagering within 30 days – Bonus requires players to be 25+ – Large withdrawals can take up to ten business days – Support isn’t 24/7
Our verdict on PlayStar Casino NJ
PlayStar is a well-run, Jersey-only casino with a good game library and quick reviews on normal withdrawals. The welcome bonus is fair at $100 and a slog at $500, and the 25+ rule shuts out younger players altogether.
Our rating: 7.0/10.
